Robert Cross (born 21 September 1990) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked PDC Order of Merit, world number eleven; he reached a peak ranking of world number two in 2018 and 2019. Nicknamed "Voltage", Cross is a former PDC World Darts Championship, PDC World Champion, defeating Phil Taylor (darts player), Phil Taylor in the 2018 PDC World Darts Championship, 2018 World Championship final after turning professional less than a year beforehand. He has won three other PDC major titles: the 2019 World Matchplay and the European Championship (darts), European Championship in 2019 European Championship (darts), 2019 and 2021 European Championship, 2021. He has also won five World Series of Darts titles. Cross has won a total of twenty-one PDC titles in his professional career; sixteen ranking and five non-ranking. Pembury
Pembury is a large village in Kent, in the south east of England, with a population of 6,128 at the 2011 census. It lies just to the north-east of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The village centre, including the village green and High Street area is a Conservation Area (United Kingdom), conservation area. History A settlement in Pembury almost certainly predates the Norman Conquest, as the village church of St Peter is of Normans, Norman origin. It is thought to have been built in the early 12th or late 11th century, though the earliest it can be dated with certainty is to 1337, when John Culpeper of Bayhall carried out building work to the church. The first recorded mention of Pembury is as "Peppingeberia" in the 12th-century ''Textus Roffensis'', though Edward Hasted states that it was also known in ancient deeds as "Pepenbery".
